Person Found Dead After House Fire Breaks Out On Long Island

It happened on Wednesday, Nov. 13 just after at 2:15 p.m. in Bayville.

The Bayville Fire Department and Nassau County Police responded to the house fire at 128 Bayville Avenue. Bayville Fire Department responded to extinguish the flames. 

Upon investigation, the body of an unidentified person was found within the residence. No further injuries due to fire were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Homicide Squad, the Second Squad, Arson Bomb Squad and Nassau County Fire Marshall responded to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
